January 2023 Update ...............Slab poured and steelwork being erected

Following many months of planning, the upgrade of the bbq structure in the Botanic gardens finally started in August. Club members joined forces to demolish the existing building and remove all debris from site.  Work commenced on preparing the foundations for the slab and behind the scenes the steel uprights for the bbq structure are being constructed.

Inclement weather interrupted the work for several weeks but eventually the slab was laid in early November and the steelwork commenced soon after.
