Hi everyone!
Well in two weeks it’s the end of the year for me, and our incoming President will be PP Len Cairns. I have enjoyed being President this year. I have learnt a lot more this year and became more confident in myself. For my Presidents project this year Wheel Chairs for Kids. Through the donations and sponsorship, I managed to get 68 chairs. Great effort!
Our guest speaker last week was P.P Michael Koch giving us a presentation on the "Adopt a School" in Bali, that Moe Rotary has continued to support the Banyuning school by suppling the with uniforms. Over the years we have supplied them with books, school bags, pencils and reading glasses, new first aid room. The club has also redeveloped the tuck shop into anew toilet block with 4 toilets and handwash basins. There were many other projects that have been undertaken.
Michael Koch went over last year in October to review work previously undertaken at the school and to arrange the purchase of new uniforms.
That's all for now.
President Lyn
