Hi everyone!
On Monday night our members and their partners went to Turfside Bistro Moe for a social evening, it was great to see Bruce Paull come along. Everyone enjoyed themselves on the night with good food, good company and good wine.
Thursday afternoon Robin Noakes, David McInnes (Morwell Rotary) myself went to Elizabeth Street Primary School in Moe to meet the RJCA students, Liam, Leslie and Judy. While we were there, they were busy cooking spaghetti bolognaise and we were lucky enough to sample it, and it was very tasty.
This Monday we will be having behind the badge with Helen MacDonald and Len Cairns. Looking forward to seeing on Monday.
That’s all for now
On Thursday 1 August, Lyn and Robin visited Elizabeth St Primary School, joined by David McInnes, RC Morwell. David was interested to see how ESPS run their RJCA program, and we were given a demonstration of how to make Spaghetti Bolognaise by Liam, Leslie and Judy. We even got to taste test the product and it was pretty good!.
Following on from that, Robin, Helen MacDonald and Ross visited Willow Grove Primary School on 2 August. Meeting up with Brodie, Charlie, Angus, Addison and Ava we discussed progress with each of their Award areas of Community Service,
Social Experience, Physical recreation and Skill development.
A most enjoyable visit and we were able to give some encouragement and ideas on activities might be persued. It was great to meet students from a new school involved
in the RJCA program. We can look forward to interesting presentations when these students present their progress to our Club later in the year.
Thanks
Robin
