Lyn's Letter #5
It was great to see everyone last week and for Michael and Dave to join us on Zoom.
Club Assembly ran as usual and I thank the Chairs for their reports. Lots of information was shared with members.
Key dates coming up include the Snow Train on Saturday 5 August and the official opening of the BBQ Shelter Centennial Project in the Botanic Gardens on Friday 11 August at 1pm.
I’m looking forward to our social evening on Monday night and hope it will be a good night at the Italian Australian Club in Morwell.
I am enjoying my role as Club President and got to meet up with fellow Presidents in the West Gippsland Cluster last Sunday at the Trafalgar Pub. AG Di Harrison organized the event and we all had a lovely time getting to know each other. Lunch was excellent and the pub was buzzing.
That’s all for now.
President Lyn
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the Official Opening of the new BBQ facility at the Botanic Gardens in Moe on Friday 11 August 2023 at 1.00 pm.
The opening ceremony will involve speeches from both the President of the Rotary Club of Moe and a representative from Latrobe City Council, followed by the cutting of the ribbon to signify the facility is open and a sausage sizzle on the new bbq.
We hope to have you present to mark another successful event for the Rotary Club of Moe with Latrobe City Council and the community of Moe in general.
For catering purposes, please RSVP by Tuesday 8th August to:
