Next Monday, Oct 5th - Report from RYPEN Participants
Club News and Updates
President's Report
Last Monday we held our Club Assembly. Club Chairs and Project Co-ordinators updated
the members on what occurred at the recent Board Meeting.
On behalf of Program Chair Roger, Secretary Maureen provided an update on the Youth
Programs and what is happening for the month of October.
Maureen also provided an update on Rotarian Bill who is currently on leave due to poor
health. We all wish Bill a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him in the not so
distant future.
Members discussed the number of meetings held across the year, with a suggestion raised
to consider moving to fortnightly meetings. Feedback was invited, and the majority of
members felt that adopting a fortnightly schedule during the Winter period could be a
practical option. This suggestion will be considered further as planning for next year
continues.
A fundraising event has been organised for the Wheelchairs for Kids Program. This will take
place on Friday December 4th at the Newborough Bowling Club. Entertainment will be music
from the 60’s, 70,s and 80’s. Tickets are now available by contacting Lyn on 0434 239744.
