Presidents for 2025-2026
Len Cairns and Alan Bishop
The Rotary Club of Moe is pleased to announce a shared presidency for the 2025–2026 Rotary year.
Len Cairns will serve as President from July to December 2025, with Alan Bishop assuming the role from January to June 2026.
Together, Presidents Len and Co President Alan are united in their commitment to the Rotary International theme, “Unite for Good.”

As mentioned in the last two weeks, our club has been cooking up lots of food using our
BBQ trailed for community events. Last Saturday (20th September) we were involved in the
Community ART Collective, school children's art show at the Moe Community Hub on High
Street Moe. The Rotary Club of Moe auspiced this event with a number of sponsors and
Latrobe City Council support. Each participating school in our postcode 3825 area had a
range of art on display and these were judged with a first and second prize for each school.
The range of products was excellent. We distributed over 100 sausages to families who
attended. It was great to see local kids so excited to show their families their art on display.
The local school Baringa had a very colourful display

On Monday we had a strong attendance at our Club Assembly night with many of our
overseas travelers returning to the club. A visiting Rotarian, Bruce Jones, gave an
impromptu brief presentation on his current Rotary Club the Rotary Nomads an online
national group which sound great. This club seem to fit the current digital world and allow
rotarians who travel a lot, or who are even home bound, to keep in touch with Rotary and
contribute. Bruce was formerly a member of Warragul Rotary club and grew up in Moe.
