The Rotary Club of Moe is pleased to announce a shared presidency for the 2025–2026 Rotary year.
Len Cairns will serve as President from July to December 2025, with Alan Bishop assuming the role from January to June 2026.
Together, Presidents Len and Co President Alan are united in their commitment to the Rotary International theme, “Unite for Good.”
This week we have our first new Board meeting. Our new Treasurer, Robin is working on a
draft budget as we await current Rotary International and District fees for the 2025 -2026
Rotary year. We will try to keep our subs as low as possible.
There has been work done this week tidying up the Moe Botanic Gardens Playground area
and we are preparing for our August night when we welcome our Japanese sister city
colleagues for our special Rotary Club meeting on 4th August.
It is still pretty chilly in our home town these mornings, even with frost over this weekend.
But spring will be coming and then we will have some outdoor events as discussed earlier at
our club meeting.
Be sure to let club Secretary know numbers for the Japanese night as we are catering similar
to the change-over night for simplicity and expect a good crowd.
