Presidents for 2025-2026
Len Cairns and Alan Bishop
The Rotary Club of Moe is pleased to announce a shared presidency for the 2025–2026 Rotary year.
Len Cairns will serve as President from July to December 2025, with Alan Bishop assuming the role from January to June 2026.
Together, Presidents Len and Co President Alan are united in their commitment to the Rotary International theme, “Unite for Good.”

The Rotary Club of Moe Community Services Committee under the chair, Ross Maxfield, is
having a working party this coming week on Thursday 9th October, at 2.00pm to dig out
some of the soil in the Round Rose Garden bed to ready it for a new planting of our Rotary
Health Roses and border plants. This will enable better draining and good quality topsoil so
that this time our precious roses thrive!

Our programme director, Roger Taylor is back from his tripping around with Irene and they
are both recovering well. The RJCA schools work is proceeding and future presentations and
the final presentation of awards are locked in to the programme. Thanks to all involved
especially Robin Noakes.

A reminder that we have our musical event coming up on Saturday 18th October, be ready
to sing along with Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton. Tickets can still be obtained from Lyn
Cassar (see below).

We have some significant Rotary service events scheduled in the month as well. So
come along on Mondays.

Here are a few corny sayings about Rotary that even Ross has not sent to the newsletter
before!
We wheelie love serving our community
Join Rotary—it’s a roundabout way to do good.
We rotate through projects, but our purpose stays centered.
Service above self? That’s how we roll.
