Hi everyone!

On Thursday four of our members were up at 4am for a 5am start to cook egg and bacon sandwiches for the workers at Energy Australia for their RUOK day. On the day we cooked 140 sandwiches which kept us busy. We were very lucky to have a worker come and help us, this made a huge difference. I
would like Alan Bishop Maureen Bishop, Helen MacDonald for coming out on such a cold morning.

As I am raising money for Wheel Chairs for Kids I have included the websites for the short video about the Global Village Foundation.

Global Village Foundation Bali (GVF)

The GVF is one of our amazing distribution partners. They operate in Bali and in the neighbouring islands of Lombok, Java, and the islands of Nusa Tenggara Timur. They help people who live in extreme poverty, often with a severe disability, the very poorest who don't have access to the basic necessities of life.

GVF is a leading NGO (Non-governmental organisation) distributor of free wheelchairs for Indonesia's poorest disabled citizens - children and adults. They work closely with major International wheelchair partners including Wheelchairs For Kids.

Just last week they completed an assembly and fitting day for children in Banyuwangi, the administrative capital of Banyuwangi Regency at the far eastern end of the island of Java, Indonesia.

We thought you might get a big smile seeing the even bigger smiles on the children. We thank you GVT for the amazing work they do distributing our Wheelchairs For Kids Australia wheelchairs and helping transform lives for the better.

Also, a video on how they are made which you will find interesting. At the end of the year, I will be having a fund-raising event for the Wheel Chairs. I Will keep you informed.

These are the websites where you can find all information about the Wheelchairs and also a video of the workshop.
