We had a Board meeting on Monday, which will reported at Club Assembly on Monday 24th.
I am pleased to report that Len’s left arm is less severely injured than previously feared. Rest, physio
and patience are required.
Several of us are going to District Assembly at Nossal High School on Saturday. A chance to get up to
speed with the District merger and Regionalisation and other Rotary projects of note.
This is old news but worth mentioning. Dave Wood, Bill Connell and Ross Maxfield collected $310 in
donations for the RCH Good Friday Appeal in the area around the old High school, Victoria St,
Truscott Rd and Alexander Ave. This added to the $500 donation from the Rotary Club of Moe. (see
photo of presentation cheque to Sue Bechaz)

Maureen has prepared thank you letters to all our Golf Day sponsors and from personal experience
delivering a few them, I can say they are being well received. A large item in LV Express of 19 April
also acknowledged everyone.
The BBQ build continues with the post footings being covered with high tech grout. To be continued
on Monday.
District 9820 in conjunction with District 9810 are running RYLA at the Mornington Peninsular over
the week 26 June to 1 July. We hope to sponsor one attendee, and all are asked to think about
suitable nominees. Check out RYLA at https://www.youth.rotary9820.org.au/ryla
Dave Wood has kindly agreed to lay our wreath at the MOE RSL ANZAC DAY service on Tuesday 25
April.
Looking forward to discussion at Club Assembly on Monday 24th.
