You will note a change on 4 May from previously.
Unfortunately we had invited our local Rotary clubs, together with the DGN Murray Wilson to join us with Guest Speaker Barb Seymour. As the LV Express GM, she was to talk about the Express' 75 years in local journalism. Unfortunately she has to care for her nephews while her sister undergoes a procedure. However she is keen to reschedule.
Instead we are having a partners' night at Twenty20 on that date. All welcome.

Report from the Business Excellence Award and Youth Exchange Student 16 Years On.
At our last meeting we had not one, but 3 guest speakers, and what an enjoyable evening they provided
Firstly Andrew Lewis was presented with the Rotary Club of Moe's 2026 Business Excellence Award.
Lyn Cassar was invited to help present the award as it was her words (with some kind assistance from Diane) which convinced the Board that Andrew was a meritorious selection.
Andrew was very humble and extremely honest with his response, acknowledging his team of 4 nurses. However, his 24 years of service to Moe and Newborough have been noteworthy.
Sandra Demagistris reflected on hosting Cesar Olange from France back in 2010. The 16 year old of that time has now added a further 16 years since his visit.
Sandra and Pash cherished the memories of their involvement with the Youth Exchange Students program, and subsequently caught up with Cesar in France years later.
Cesar had wonderful memories of his time as a wild and woolly haired student at Lowanna. Many members of his exchange team remain life-long friends.
Following the completion of his studies, Cesar clearly developed a love for travel, possibly due to Rotary. Extended periods living in Columbia and Spain preceded his time in Mexico, where he has lived for the past 18 months.
In his concluding remarks he mentioned that highlights of this trip have been time spent with Sandra, John and Norma, and now a Rotary meeting. He presented a memento tile from Mexico to the club.
All 3 presenters told fascinating stories which continued into the fines session. Robin was busy all evening taking photos for our archives, and displaying the photos of GRGC26.
