Hi everyone!
Not much to say this week. On Monday night some Rotarians and partners went along to 20/20 restaurant, it was a nice night with good food and good company.
On Tuesday the changeover/75th anniversary committee met and have the event well under way, thanks Ross Maxfield, Robin Noakes, Maureen Bishop and Di Wilkinson for all their hard work and time they have put into making it a successful night.
Coming up on Monday May 29th is a movie night at Warragal cinemas which will be run by Warragul Rotary Club, this is a true story and also an Australian film called ‘The Way My Way”.
Well, that’s all I have for now see you all on Monday.
Stay safe

An update on a Club project.
Robin made a presentation to the RJCA students at Albert Street Primary school about their program which starts in term 2. Principal Monique Osborn and Welfare Officer Bek Harkensee had already both shown great enthusiasm for President Lyn’s Wheelchair for Kids project and are now supporting the idea of a school “Wheelathon” to raise money for chairs. Building on this Rtn Robin invited the kids to identify what a chair should look like and then showed them the WFK chair.
He showed a video from a Melbourne school and discussed how a Wheelathon might work. The exciting part is the RJCA kids will be deeply involved in designing and running the day, as part of their RJCA project. To our knowledge ASPS will be the first school in Gippsland to run a Wheelathon as part of their RJCA program. It is President Lyn’s wish for this Club project to involve as many of the Club as possible, and there will be scope for the entire club to be there on the day and possibly be part of a BBQ fund raiser.
