Hi everyone!
 
What great news Teagan Micah formally from Moe (daughter of Steve Micah ex Rotarian) will be part of the Matilda’s squad trying out for the Paris Olympics in 2024.
Since December Teagan has been playing in Liverpool as a goal keeper in the Women’s Super Legue.

On Monday at our meeting, we spoke on the future of our club. I will take on the role as President for 2024-2025, but I also need a President Elect and Secretary and assistant Treasurer to Di Wilkinson. These are very important roles that need to be filled to keep the club running. We also had discussions on how we can change things to attract new members, and there was great input by all of the members with great ideas.
 
GREAT NEWS! The total amount raised for Wheel Chairs for Kids is $6279.51 that comes to 22.83 chairs.
 
Our meeting will be held at the Moe Hotel in Lloyd Street for a 6.15 to 6.30 start we will be having our meals before meetings and we don’t get interrupted during meals.
 
On Monday night 19th February will be having a Nominating committee followed by a board meeting at Lyns 11 Colli Drive Newborough at 6.30pm

Meeting 27th November

Hi everyone!
 
Yesterday we did the Black Friday sales Harvey Norman BBQ in Moe. People were very generous with donations towards the Wheelchair for Kids project. A person was kind enough to purchase a chair so that takes the total amount of chairs to twelve. I would like to thank Ross Maxfield, Helen MacDonald, Len Cairns, Robin Noakes and Sharon Gibson for their help.
 
On Saturday 25th November, we have our Issy Dye’s ‘Tribute to Elvis and Roy Orbison’ show at the Newborough Bowling Club. All money raised on the night will go to the President project ‘Wheelchairs for Kids’. Bring along some loose change as there will be lots of raffles.
 
On Monday 27thNovember, it is our club AGM, Club Assembly and we also have a guest, Emma Jackson, who is participating in the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF).
 
On December 4th we have our Pride of Workmanship awards at Old Gippstown. Thanks to Chair Youth/Vocation, Rog Taylor, for organizing.
 
On December 11thit is our Christmas breakup at the Newborough Bowling Club. The cost will be $40 per head for a two-course meal and there will be children’s meals as well for $10 per head. I need to know numbers no later than December 4th.
