Although we did not meet last Monday the Club has been busy in various ways. The Combined Board met on Monday to jointly prepare for the end of this Rotary year and the start of the next. There are some great things planned, not least of which is preparation for our 75th anniversary. Ross Maxfield and I will start to gather all the background information needed to make this significant event a success. If you have information or shoe boxes of memorabilia, please let Ross and I know.
Thank you Di Harrison for organising our changeover. We have over 40 people attending. Our guests include newly inducted DG Linda Humphries, her partner PDG Mark Humphries and representatives from local organisations.
While I look forward to handing over the chain of office, I also look forward to supporting Lyn, Kishor, Sandy and the new Board of Directors as we grasp the opportunities of the new Year.
Several members are unwell or recovering from health related issues. We are thinking of you and wish you speedy recovery.
This is my last Bulletin as President, so to quote that well known phrase from the “2 Ronnies”
“So it’s goodnight from me - and it’s goodnight from him”
As mentioned at a recent club dinner our Excellence focus this year is OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEES .
The criteria can be as simple as...
friendly helpful manner

often goes the hard yards on your behalf
a credit to their particular business house
You may witness other characteristics which have impressed you as you have done business in and around Moe.
Consider nominating your favourite employee by submitting to Roger, chair of the Vocation Committee the name of your recommendation, who he/she works for and the criteria which has most impressed you.
I will require your recommendation by mid June for an August Rotary presentation evening.
Members along with President Robyn, cordially invite you to their Changeover meeting on
Tuesday, 11th July 2023 at 6p.m. for a 6: 30p.m start.
This is being held at Moe Hotel, Lloyd Street Moe, in the Legends room.
Cost $35 for a 2 course meal. Drinks at bar prices.

We would encourage you to get into the spirit and wear anything Winter related.
