Helen’s Herald #25

Welcome back Rotarians, what a great start for 2020.

Last Monday we had a social night with a B.B.Q at the Botanic Gardens. Guests included Assistant Governor Peter Dell, President Rosemary Allica and 7 other members from the Rotary Club of Warragul and partners of some of our Rotarians. Thank you to the Chair of Community Lyn Cassar and her team for a great meal. A tin was passed around for donations to the Bushfire appeal and $155.80 was collected and will be sent to the Rotary Club of Bairnsdale for their fire recovery fund. Thank you to all that donated. The Rotary Club of Moe has already donated $2000 and will look into donating more in the future.

Rotarians would have received a list of meals to order from the R.S.L, don’t forget this will be an ongoing event. Please pay at the bar before sitting down. Also our meeting Venue has been moved to the members lounge.

This week our guest speaker will be Steve Bechaz. Steve has been busy making Moe beautiful by painting murals.

Rotary Golf Classic is not far away please remember to get a book of raffle tickets or 2 from Bill and put your name on the roster to sell tickets.

This week we will have a board meeting, any Rotarians not on the board if you are interested in attending are most welcome.

P.S. If you fail never give up because F.A.I.L means “First Attempt In Learning”. End is not the end. In fact E.N.D. means “Effort Never Dies”.

If you get a NO as an answer remember N.O. means Next Opportunity.    Positive thinking!!!!!!
