Hi Everyone,
On Wednesday Ross Maxfield and Lyn Cassar went to Moondarra Reservoir to cook a BBQfor the Gippsland Water workers and their guests. At present they working on ideas on how to promote Moondarra Reservoir. Ross and I had a look around and there is so much history about Moondarra Reservoir.
In 1961 they had the restoration of the Gould Building, (the inn) also in the same year the Moondarra Spillway completion and in 1962 Sir Henry Bolte opened the Moondarra Reservoir.
Thanks to Dave Wood, Helen Morrison, Di Wilkinson, Roger Taylor Ross Maxfield and Bill Connell for helping with the collection for the Royal Children’s hospital Appeal. They collected $525.95, plus $500 donated by Moe Rotary Well done!
There will be no meeting on April 21st (Easter Monday) next
meeting will be on April 28th Club assembly.
