Bali Update

The Bali Project supporting the Banyuning SD3 Primary School was continued. This year in November we had a total of 19 Rotarians, partners & friends attend the school in the village of Bunutan. Our group was very pleased to see the completion of the toilet work, the class room painting, new chairs and desks as well as the installation of 3 new ceiling fans all done by a local builder on our behest. New school uniforms (scout style) were also purchased and presented at the school to hand out to all the children. All 19 of us were overwhelmed with the gratitude and happiness of the children and staff attending the school. Those who have been previously, all commented on the positive changes they can see that have been made to the school and the learning environment since our club has started sponsoring this school as our “Adopt a School Project”.
