Len Falk Lecture a Resounding Success.
The Rotary Club of Morwell hosted the 34th (and final)Len Falk lecture at their dinner meeting last night.
Moe was well represented with Rotarians Di, Bryce, Len, Roger and Irene all in attendance, with Dave unfortunately a late apology.
These lectures honour a fine educational leader whose memory has been carried on by his colleagues since his death.
Some notable presentations have taken place during those 30-odd years, including Margaret Whitlam, Les Twentyman, Justice Kirby, Tim Costello, Barry Jones, David Parkin, and in 2000 our own Len Cairns.

Chief organiser Rotarian Keith Brownbill, a former Morwell High School principal, was acknowledged for his outstanding contribution over so many years, and for this lecture he chose Michael Traill, 9a philanthropist and politics and economics dynamo, and son of former Maryvale High School principal Bill Traill), to present the final talk.
A wonderful evening, and I thank Bryce for bringing it to my attention, and look forward to his story in the Express later next week.
