History
1973-74
Club membership reached 50 Rotarians.
Dig-a-thon organised at the Museum.
Progressive Dinner held.
Careers Guidance continued.
    
1974-75
Darwin Cyclone victims housed at Yallourn.
Moe Rotaract Club formed
Graham Stephenson on Group Study Team to Japan.
$1,500 raised for the Aid Bangladesh Appeal.
    
1975-76
Painting, furniture and equipment at Woorabinda.
Senior Citizens taken on a picnic to Glenmaggie Weir.
Visit by Glen Waverley Rotary Club.
Jumble Sale included assembly of barbecue desk sets.
    
1976-77
First Night Out at Museum.
Rotary Gatehouse Gardens started.
7 Children sponsored to Lion's  Licola Camp.
Rotary Exchange Student, Mosato Odaka hosted at Moe.     
    
1977-78
Gatehouse Gardens development continued.
Museum "Night Out" raised $2,700 for Community Service Funds.
Club assisted at Funday Sunday activities.
I.P.A.C project completed by supplying an Arc Welder for Salvation Army Togatia House equipment at Goroke, New Guinea.
Total donations over the period to charities is $26,192.
    
1978-79    
Annual BBQ raised $2,380.  Donated $5000 to Latrobe Valley hospital
    
Karen Simpson on exchange from South Africa and spent a year wit the Club.    
Scholarship awarded to Adele Jackson to attend Latrobe Business College.    
Woorabinda Youth Program for 3 days organised by the Rotary Club.    
1979-80    
Annual BBQ raised $2,620. Donated lifting equipment to support the disabled at the swimming pool.    
Heather Trotter on an exchange to America for one year. Helen Detering was our New Zealand twin exchange.    
Vocational tours were arranged to Moe Credit Union and TAFE College during the year.    
A Rotary committee assisted Me High School for students to have work experience.    
1980-81    
Annual BBQ raised $3,900. Donated $ 4,511 to charities.    
Masato Odaka came back from Japan to visit our Club.    
Scholarship awarded to Debbie Seers to attend Latrobe Business College.    
Michelle Kettner and Nella Roano gave talks on Canada and Sicily.    
1981-82    
Annual BBQ raised $4,450. Donated $3,000 to RAFTER.    
Yvette Coutts was our NewZealand twin exchange Student.    
Scholarship awarded to Lynette Mumford to attend Latrobe Business College.    
Rotary camp at Woorabinda for the handicapped was highly successful.    
1982-83    
Annual BBQ raised $5,700. Donated $3,000 to the aged village and $3,588 to charities.    
Hosted India's Group Study Exchange team. Bruckner Chase 111 came over from the USA on exchange for a year.    
Many good Guest Speakers for the year.    
A Tricycle was donated to Baringa School for the handicapped and also donated to their camp fund.    
1983-84    
Annual BBQ raised $2,400. Donated $1,740 to charities.    
Raywon Kalaugher came over from New Zealand on a twin exchange.    
All members gave a job talk during the year.    
Our Club made a visit to Karingal Scout Camp and made a donation to the scouts for equipment.    
1984-85    
Annual BBQ raised $2,500. Donated $2,800 to charities.    
Debra Tresidder, Tara Akers and Kylie Goulding were our three students that went to New Zealand on exchange.    
Survey carried out for outstanding employee and out standing employer in the City of Moe.    
Undertook a survey of youth in the community including the Youth Outreach Project, Moe Youth Club and Safety House.         
1985-86    
Annual BBQ raised $6,000. Donated $3,000 to Moe Life Skills and $4,090 to charities.    
Jocelyn Puddy, Michelle Unwin and Nicole Lewis were our representatives in New Zealand on twin exchange.    
A careers evening in conjunction withe the TAFE College was conducted with 42 businesses represented.    
Two of our Rotarians were constant visitors to Elizabeth Street "Drop in Centre".    
1986-87    
Annual BBQ raised $10,000. Donated $5,000 to charities.    
Rene Roberts was with us from the USA for one year, while M. Lakeman went to the USA for the same period.    
Monica Detering, Jodie Maxfield and David Naumenko were our New Zealand exchange students.    
Assisted the Association for the Blind establish a day centre for the blind people in Moe.    
Purchased equipment for the Moe Youth Club's gymnasium.    
1987-88    
Botanic Gardens was the Club's major project. Allocation of funds to the community was $5,100.    
Kellie Forys, Donna McKay and Sharon  Madeley went across the Tasman to represent us in New Zealand.    
Received 11 nominations for the National Science Summer School to be held in Canberra.    
Supplied our post primary schools with video's titled, "The Young Job Seekers".    
1988-89    
The Botanic Gardens was a major focus again with Tree planting, Footpaths upgraded and remaining Tables installed.
A Drug Awareness tape "Out of Control" was purchased to show 9 to 14 yrs. So successful a further 13 were distributed to local Schools.
    
The Club hosted Helle Anderson from Denmark. Joann Passey returned from Rena, Norway. A Group Study Exchange was hosted from District 108, Cambridgeshire, England. The New Zealand Exchange Program hosted Rohan Passey and Nigel Schmidt from NZ.    
Vocational Service Committee were very busy with progams such as Work Skill Australia, Entrepreneurs Award, Pride in Workmanship, Striving for     
Success Award.    
1989-90    
Donation to the community included $5000 to Latrobe Valley Hospital, $1150 2nd Moe Scout Group. The Club participated in the Red Shield Appeal and raised $1355.    
International Ladies Nights were successful and money raised along with $1000 of Club funds went toward the purchase of a small Bus for Deaf an Dumb children in Indonesia.    
The Club supported Anna Nielson and David Mansfield to be considered for the National Summer science School conducted in Canberra.    
Helle Anderson has returned home to Denmark. Julie Hayden is on exchange to Brazil and Maritta Peach is currently in Northern Japan. The Club is hosting Hanako from Japan. Debbie Nave will leave for Sweden in January. The New Zealand Exchange has Nicole Graham & Samantha Awty (Aust.) and Tina Walton & Sharee Jones (NZ) in New Zealand.
Kerre-Ann Jessep, President of Rotaract achieved her goals of increasing membership and improving relationships between Rotaract & Rotary Clubs.
Members had interesting and certainly varied activities.
