Last Monday President Maureen chaired her first Board Meeting, and managed the agenda like a seasoned pro.
She particularly appreciated that all service chairs had called a meeting and prepared a report in advance, ensuring that all board members knew in advance what business was to be discussed. great start by all concerned!
As our Members' Jokes Night forms the program next week, we will not hear from the chairs until Club Assembly on the 28th, so below is listed some of the issues which will be outlined at that meeting -
MEMBERSHIP: revamping nomination form, nominator to be co-opted to Membership committee, and promotion of RC of Moe through business cards, brochures and the media.
COMMUNITY SERVICE: Snow Train details, Woolworths pre-Christmas BBQ, Newborough rotunda, Wine and Cheese night.
VOCATIONAL: All projects reviewed with RJCA, Pride of Workmanship, MUNA and Lord Somers camp all under consideration.
INTERNATIONAL: Bali 2017, Visit to D Nunzios for an italian night, Film Night fundraiser, Rotary Exchange, Zimbabwe project investigation and the Takasago Seisho visit.
